{Oh, and also. No one paid me for product placement in this post. :)}
Alright. Here’s my Elliott Lucca Sena bag, full of stuff:
And now all laid out:

- notebook
- giraffe
- Essie nail polish
- a fuzzy pipe cleaner
- pumpernickel pretzels (for Rembot) and teething biscuits (for Baby Shark)
- some business cards from Fadra, Karla, Caroline, Amanda, Tina, and a little note from Bobbi-Jo :)

- two epipens (in the unlikely case that both girls have a reaction at the same time), benadryl, medicine dispenser
- makeup and makeup tools
- Chapstick, Burt’s Bees, Nivea lip balm (I hate chapped lips)
- lip gloss, although I’m more of a lip stain user. (Recommend one, please!)
- those facial cleansing wipes I talked about.
- two normal bobby pins and a jacked up third bobby pin. I was at a wedding last week and was using them to pin up this complicated updo. Didn’t work.
- dental floss
- postcards featuring Abraham Lincoln and Edith Wharton
- pink headphones
- four Pilot G2 05s. I have no idea why there are four in my bag, but if you ever want to know what to get me for my birthday… Pilot G2 05s are a pretty good gift to fall back on.
- tissues from Target, even though we’re fighting right now.
- car key and house key, with a cute key fob from Itty Bitty Bag and a bunch of scannable membership cards.
- Diaper Buds are awesome, because no matter how dirty the inside of my bag will get, I will always have clean diapers in a teeny tiny little package. This is extremely important to me, because I would never put my girl parts near the contents of an average handbag.
- backup contacts
- single serving of Prilosec. Haha, this is kind of embarrassing, but the foil wrapper is so crazy because I tried taking it while I was driving one night. Except you’re supposed to use scissors, and I didn’t have any. So I attacked it with my teeth. And lost. Hence its presence in my bag.
I think that about covers it. I can’t tell if the contents of my bag say “I’m prepared” or “I’m a hoarder.” Hmm. Okay, your turn!

not really a hoarder, but yea, ur well prepared :D
what’s in my bag? im afraid you’ll call me a hoarder!
and im so interested in these linky tools, i think ill soon be trying something similar on my blog too… thanks for sharing!

The embarrassing part is that this doesn’t include what I carry when I’m traveling with the girls. I usually add wipes, sippy cups, Cheerios, and princess underwear. :P

Nice button, girlie! And your purse [while having way more stuff than mine] looks so much more organized… probably because there’s no trash in it :]

I weeded most of the trash out, cause I’m vain. Hahahahaha. :)

I love this idea Roo!
There is nothing like getting free reign to snoop through someone’s purse!

I know, but just to show you how gross I am… if I was rummaging through your bag in real life, I’d probably try on all your lip glosses.

What’s in a Librarian’s bag? Umm, not much apparently.

So that’s a wallet, a book, my keys, cell phone, mini-lotion, pepper spray (yes, pepper spray – sometimes I have to work late and it makes my husband feel better!), sunglasses, TWO packs of tissues (I’m recuperating from a sinus infection), my sunglasses case that I never actually put my sunglasses in, and my nifty three-zip organizer.
Inside the organizer I have all the essentials – you can probably see the chapstick, throat lozenge and bobby pins in the outside zip. I also have bandaids, a couple painkillers, an allergy pill, a little comb, pressed powder, lip gloss and a collapsible tent in the other compartment. Ok, not the collapsible tent, but that’s the only thing I’m missing!
I love my purse because there are so many pockets to organize all my stuff. Are you seeing a trend here? You should see my tupperware containers. I don’t have that missing lid syndrome. I’ve got them all organized according to the Dewey Decimal system.

That hand lotion looks familiar. Maybe? :) Is it.. aromatherapeutic?

Oh dang. I thought I was going to get an embedded image, not just a link. Sorry for my lame looking comment everyone!
Roo, that lotion should look familiar. That “stress relief” aromatherapy has gotten me through a few tough days too. Plus, I get compliments whenever my colleagues sniff me. ;)

S, I was able to fix it for Dawn below. You just need to copy and paste the html code.
Should start with < ..a..href..> minus the periods.
I forgot a couple of things (it was early)LOVE the bag that holds the epi pens. And the key fob is great too. And your wallet, awesome!

Andi, the wallet and the bag are from Target, and you know I’m mad at the right now, so both of those things might die in a fire tonight.
RAHH!

I don’t have a blog, and I said I wouldn’t be participating, but I was looking at everyone else’s pics and got sucked in. ;) Here’s my pic: http://flic.kr/p/8DCdEa
In no particular order…. That’s a pacifier holder on the handle of the bag. Then there are Kleeex, wipes, bags to carry blow-out diaper clothes, 2 pens, Desitin, one diaper (that probably should be replaced with Diaper Buds after having seen Roo’s bag), Tide-to-Go, a reusable wad-up shopping bag, lens-cleaning cloth, the 2Gs’ medical record books, 3 alcohol swabs, 3 Emergen-C paks, 2 single-serve Benedryl, and 1/2 a pack of Ricola cough drops. There’s actually a business card holder book thingy under the cough drops but you can’t really see it. Then an inhaler, teething meds for whomever needs them, and an old shopping list. Next Tums, drawing paper to keep G1 busy, lotion for Mama, lotion for babies, and sunscreen. Followed by 7 tiny hair scrunchies, $1.51 in coins from the bottom of my bag that I didn’t know was there (I’m RICH!!), some stamps, a notepad, some medicine from my sick sick sick pregnancy days, a little container that holds Tylenol, a cellphone, 3 sets of keys, 5 previously-used tissues (YUCK!), a pouchy-thing that serves as my wallet, a checkbook, and a faux checkbook that houses coupons and such, and finally a combo lipgloss/mascara deal.
*Whew* No wonder I can’t find anything in my bag when I need it.
Fun idea, Roo!! Nothing like a little self-induced public humiliation. :)

Lip gloss and mascara in one? Whaaaat? School me on this.
Diaperbuds.com is having a DEAL right now. Buy 2 for $1. Free shipping. Great way to try them out.
I NEED those single serve Benadryl packets. Where did you get them!?! I’m tired of lugging around a huge bottle.
And I need to keep lotion in my bag.

AVON! (see Tiffani) While I’m not real fond of the name, given the current meaning assigned by youngsters, it’s their “Hookup” series. You buy these little lipglosses and/or mascaras and a connector and voila!
Single-serve Benedryl was at Walgreens. Do you have those? Not real cheap, but super-convenient. For littles like G1 and Rembot, one pack is all it takes. And we’ve started keeping G1′s epipens in her own little backpack that also houses HER princess panties and extra clothes.
Cool on the Diaperbuds Deal. Heading that way right now…..

I really enjoy looking at all the other bags and seeing how truly similar the innards of each are. I find it a little metaphoric. We’re all different shapes, sizes, backgrounds, ages on the outside, but on the inside, we’re all women with busy lives who love our families and our beauty products, who don’t leave home without our cell phones or lip stuff, who do our jobs in and outside the home, and who find pleasure in the creative.
