I glanced out my kitchen window and was slightly alarmed to see someone NAKED on my neighbor’s patio. I didn’t want to look again, for obvious reasons, but curiosity got the better of me (who IS it??) and it turns out it was just one of those really large Home Depot garden clipping bags next to a chair. Those bags should not be flesh colored, and I am an idiot.
That’s kind of like you, and me, and this blog. Except there’s no nudity, and by the way I’m bad at metaphors.

LOL, tears streaming down face…

relieved to find that you live in CT and not MI, which means that you aren’t my neighbor thus were not accosted by my nearly naked husb out on the patio last week (me: “seriously hunny, boxers are not clothes, they have laws against this kind of thing,” him: “not my fault all these people decided to live so close to us.”
really really loving your blog! i’m glad that funny, articulate, dedicated people like you write blogs so i don’t have to :o)

Hahaha… at least they were boxers as opposed to the alternatives.
Haven’t seen you on here in awhile, Michelle, so I thought I’d hound you via an old comment. :)

I HEART your blog! I think you’re hilarious and I love your stick figure drawings (which are better than my stick figure drawings, if there were such a hierarchy).
Rock on!

Hi Sarah! I bet your stick figures are awesome. We could collaborate sometime. Like Jay-Z and that other guy.

Loving your blog! I was lured in by the tutorials (the drawer doll house; pure genius), and I’m a full-on “follower” now because of the humor (stick figures, dancing lessons and Milkshake Tim.) I feel like I know you already, but not in a “I need a lock of your hair for my miniature replica of you” kind of way.
Thanks for the smiles,
Mindy
P.S. I’m new too.

I think I’ve said this to you, Mindy, but this is my favorite kind of comment. I love that you were roped in under the pretense of me having any sort of credibility when it comes to DIY. :)
